Martina Smith
Martina works in our Residential Conveyancing team and is beginning her training to become a qualified Licensed Conveyancer with the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC).
Martina is gaining practical experience in the Conveyancing team developing her skills and knowledge as she trains.
Martina says "Moving home is one of the most stressful life events a person can go through. I pride myself in being able to alleviate this pressure and always endeavour to make it a smooth transition for all those involved."
In Martina's spare time she enjoys traveling and exploring new cities and towns and immersing herself in different cultures. Martina also likes to stay active and healthy and enjoys running and circuit sessions. If it is grey and miserable out though you'll find her at home baking and fussing over her beloved family.
Career
Prior to joining Stephen Rimmer Solicitors in 2021 Martina worked as a teacher for eight years, teaching Psychology and Science. This equipped her with numerous transferable skills such as time management, working with people from all walks of life and most importantly, listening, understanding and trying to assist people to the best of her ability.
Martina joined Stephen Rimmer as a Legal Secretary in the Corporate & Commercial Department but quickly progressed and in September 2022 she began the process of qualifying as a Licenced Conveyancer with the Council for Licenced Conveyancers (CLC) with the support of the firm.
